This Privacy Policy explains how Creativ Digital ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the My Hairstyle AI mobile app (the "App"). We take your privacy seriously — especially your photos. By using the App you agree to this policy.

1. Who we are

The App is operated by Creativ Digital, based in Romania. For any privacy questions or requests, contact us at office@creativdigital.ro.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the App:

Phone number — used to sign you in (via Google Firebase Authentication) and to secure your account.
Name and gender — which you provide at sign-up, used to personalise your recommendations.
Photos — the selfie you capture or choose, and the AI-generated hairstyle images created from it.
Your style preferences — e.g. length, texture, colour, vibe.
Purchase and credit information — how many "styles" you have and records of in-app purchases (processed by Google Play; we do not see your card details).
Basic technical/usage data needed to operate and troubleshoot the App.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to generate hairstyle recommendations and images from your selfie; personalise your experience and save your results; process purchases and track your style credits; and provide support, maintain security, and prevent abuse. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your photos for advertising.

4. AI processing of your photos

To create your hairstyles, your selfie and preferences are sent securely to Google's Gemini ("Nano Banana") image generation API, which processes them solely to produce your results. Specifically:

We do not perform facial recognition or identity verification.
We do not extract, derive, or store biometric identifiers from your photos.
Your photos are not used to train AI models — ours or anyone else's.

Google acts as our service provider and may not repurpose your photos for its own purposes.

5. Where your data is stored and how long we keep it

Your account data and images are stored using Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, and Cloud Storage) on Google's infrastructure. We keep your selfies and generated looks so you can access your history, until you delete them or ask us to close your account. You can delete individual results in the App at any time.

6. Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers that help us run the App: Google Firebase (authentication, database, file storage, serverless functions), Google Gemini API (to generate your hairstyle images), and Google Play (to process in-app purchases). We may also disclose information if required by law. We never sell your data.

7. Your rights and choices

You can access, correct, or delete your data. In the App you can delete your saved looks at any time, and delete your entire account (with all your photos and data) immediately from Settings — no email required. To prevent abuse of the free allowance, a new account cannot be created with the same phone number for 30 days after deletion. You can also contact us at office@creativdigital.ro, or use our account deletion page. If you are in the EU/EEA, you have rights under the GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. We respond to requests within the time required by your region — for example, one month in the EEA/UK, 30–60 days in US states, and 30 days in Canada and Australia.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections and access controls, to protect your data. Your images are stored privately and are accessible only to your account. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep your information safe.

9. Children

The App is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used the App, contact us and we will delete the information.

10. International transfers

Your data may be processed on Google servers located outside your country. For transfers outside the EEA/UK we rely on appropriate safeguards — an adequacy decision, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, or Standard Contractual Clauses.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App.
